Your pets might hate baths and so do fleas. Give them a bath with a shampoo especially made to get them rid of fleas. Wash the bedding and sheets used by your pets frequently. Overall general hygiene will go a long way in keeping your pet flea free and keep the number of fleas in control. The overall effectiveness of your efforts will not harm the pet and keep the fleas away sometimes forever. Try different methods as fleas can be quite persistent but with different ways they will be taken by surprise.
