General

As there are lots of products in the market for control of fleas we must compare flea treatments before we go ahead and buy them. This will ensure that you are able to give your pet the very best for the amount that you can afford.

We will look at a few products and the advantages they offer. The first one is Comfortis. Comfortis main flea killing ingredient is Spinosad and it has no flea sterilizing ingredient added to it. The second product is Vectra 3D. for Vectra 3D the main ingredients are Dinotefuran and Permthrin. It has a flea sterilizer too which is Pyriproxifen. It is good for dogs only and they need to be at least 7 weeks old with a weight of about 2 and a half pounds. Vectra 3D is waterproof. You also have a specific Vectra for Cat available with the ingredient dinotefuran only. It does not contain permethrin as that is not suited for cats.
