Vectra for cats and kittens:
The Vectra cat and kitten product is one that is specially designed for use only on feline pets. This product is very good for the treatment of fleas and ticks and proves to be a deterrent for flea growth for 30 days after initial application. The reaction time of the product is so swift that after six hours you see the fleas and tick dropping dead on your floor. This formula prevents the growth of fleas by destroying the eggs so that re infestation is not possible. It is gentle and safe and can be used on kittens that are about 8 weeks of age.
If you are using a topical formula take care to see that you pet has been dry for about 24 hours before as well as after the application of the product.
Both these products come in packages that contain unique applicator tips and specially contoured shapes that make it easier for the application of this product. You should take care to see that the household is also disinfected by the routine dusting of your pets bedding and the proper disposal of fecal matter. You should also take care to see that the places where untreated animals roam about are not frequented by your pet as your pet can still pick up fleas and tick. To counter this problem regular and correct applications are required on a monthly basis.
